Build Everyday Confidence with Meta AI Glasses

Explore how Meta glasses may support greater independence in your everyday life. This free assistive technology (AT) workshop series includes one individual orientation session and four group sessions to help you practice hands-free communication, access information, and apply useful features to daily tasks. With guided demonstrations, hands-on activities, and peer discussion, you can build confidence at your own pace.

Practice hands-free skills that support your goals for everyday independence.

What You’ll Gain

  • Build confidence setting up, wearing, and operating Meta glasses with support tailored to your goals.
  • Practice hands-free calls, messaging, reading, and descriptions in everyday situations.
  • Explore ways to support organization, daily tasks, and participation at home and in the community.
  • Learn privacy practices, feature limitations, and strategies for troubleshooting and requesting help.
  • Create a personalized plan for continued practice, drawing on instructor guidance and shared strategies.

How the Series Works

You’ll begin with an individual session to discuss your goals, review setup and accessibility preferences, and find a comfortable starting point. Four group sessions follow, with opportunities to practice, ask questions, share strategies, and apply skills to realistic situations. Instruction includes time for review and troubleshooting to support different levels of experience.
