Recreation, support, and career guidance for youths with vision loss.
A Guiding Hand for Kids and Teens
Being a child or teenager is full of challenges. Add a visual impairment, and life can get pretty overwhelming. At Lighthouse Guild, we get it. We understand the concerns of kids and teenagers who have vision loss (and their concerned parents). Our special programs teach children and teens the skills to grow into an independent individual.
Our Youth and Teen Programs for New York students ages 6-21 feature social and recreational activities to build self-confidence, as well as guidance, rehabilitation, and career services to prepare for life after high school. Students ages 14-20 must be legally blind to enroll.
