We are pleased to offer a free virtual workshop, “Operation Safe Travel” that provides tips to help individuals with vision loss travel independently and safely. We believe it can be a valuable addition to your community or senior center’s programming.
What to Expect: Lighthouse Guild’s Orientation & Mobility experts will provide valuable insights, practical tips, and guidance to help individuals with vision problems develop improved travel skills. Topics covered will include techniques to enhance safety to reduce trips and falls, strategies for safely navigating commonly traveled routes, such as bus stops and subways, and methods to boost overall confidence in independent travel.
One-on-One Sessions: Eligible clients will have the opportunity to schedule one-on-one sessions with our experts to receive personalized guidance and support tailored to their unique needs.
