In this hands-on workshop, we will explore how to effectively use Reddit to connect with online communities and access valuable information. You will learn how to create a Reddit account, search for and join relevant groups, and engage in topics that matter to you.
Special emphasis will be placed on the /r/Blind subreddit, a community for people who are blind or visually impaired. You will discover how to search for topics within the group, contribute to discussions, and even start your own threads to ask questions or share your experiences. Whether you’re new to Reddit or looking to enhance your participation, our Tech In-session will give you the tools and confidence to use this platform.

About the Moderators
Bryan Wolynski, OD, FAAO, is an Optometrist and the Chief Technology Officer at Lighthouse Guild. He oversees the organization’s technology resources and initiatives and develops strategies to bring the latest technological advancements to people who are blind or visually impaired.
Shanell Matos is a technology assistant for the Lighthouse Guild Technology Center, leveraging her expertise, education, and passion for assistive technology from her first-hand experience with vision loss. Her exceptional skills with technology and ambition have assisted with her goals.
