Build Everyday Confidence with Meta Glasses

Explore how Meta glasses may support greater independence in your everyday life. This free assistive technology (AT) workshop series combines one individual session with four group sessions to help you practice hands-free communication, access information, and apply useful features to daily tasks.

Get comfortable with the basics of Meta glasses, from hands-free calls and messaging to reading and describing information.

Session 2: Read and Describe Around the House

This is Session 2 of 4. This session is part of a 4-part series. Register for the full series to join.

What What You’ll Gain from the Series 

• Build confidence setting up, wearing, and operating Meta glasses with support tailored to your goals.
• Practice hands-free calls, messaging, reading, and descriptions in everyday situations.
• Explore ways to support organization, daily tasks, and participation at home and in the community.
• Learn privacy practices, feature limitations, and strategies for troubleshooting and requesting help.
• Create a personalized plan for continued practice, drawing on instructor guidance and shared strategies.

• Session 1: November 19 – Core Features and Getting Comfortable with the Basics
• Session 2: December 3 – Read and Describe Around the House (this session)
• Session 3: December 10 – Using Meta Out and About 
• Session 4: December 17 – App Connections and Useful Features
