Join us in person for a community-led workshop and discussion exploring the smartphone apps that people who are blind or have low vision rely on every day. Whether it’s reading mail, identifying objects, shopping, or navigating the city, these tools play a powerful role in supporting independence.
This interactive session invites participants to share their go-to apps, how they use them, and which ones they find most accessible and reliable. Whether you’re just starting to explore assistive apps or you’re a seasoned user looking to discover new tools or offer insights, this workshop offers real-life examples, shared tips, and honest conversations about what works—and what doesn’t.
We’ll also cover accessibility features, evolving technology, and the growing role of both mainstream and specialized apps in daily life.
Space is limited to ensure everyone has a chance to engage, ask questions, and contribute. Register today and bring your curiosity!
