Speakers

Mira Philipson: MTA Accessibility Senior Innovation Strategist 
A Chicago native with roots in New York, Mira’s passion for equitable city life and public transit has guided her career in Accessibility at the MTA. She serves as MTA Accessibility’s Senior Innovation Strategist, researching, testing, and implementing innovative accessibility features and solutions, whether technological, informational, or infrastructural. While continuing this work at the MTA, Mira is also pursuing her Master’s in Urban Planning at New York University Wagner School of Public Service. 

Christine Singh: MTA Accessibility Projects Specialist
A Queens native, Christine has been passionate about accessible technology and technology that makes the world more accessible for people with disabilities. This led her to pursue her degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from CUNY City Tech. Since joining MTA’s Accessibility team, Christine has been laser focused on NaviLens, surveying subway stations to designate where NaviLens codes should go, writing and implementing language for each NaviLens code, and so much more.
