Purpose of study: Recently, several new devices have been developed that use AI innovations that provide access to text-to-speech, scene description, and object recognition. This study collects data on the needs that users think the technology will help them with, how accurately the technology works in the hands of people with vision loss, and whether the technology is accessible and acceptable.

Eligibility: We are recruiting participants who are 18 years or older and with vision between 20/100 and no light perception.

Duration: This study will require three visits to Lighthouse Guild for approximately one to two hours.

Procedures: The study will provide participants with training, practice, and testing with three technologies: ARx AI with Seeing AI, Seeing AI, and Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.

Compensation: Participants will be compensated at a rate of $25 per visit, with an additional $50 for completing all three visits in appreciation of their time.
