Lighting up Palm Beach. Lighthouse Guild hosted its 18th Annual Palm Beach Visionary Evening at Club Collette. Lighthouse Guild is the leading organization dedicated to providing exceptional services that help people who are visually impaired attain their goals.
The gala honored Patrick and Milly Park, who attended with their twin daughters, and Mary Mahoney, for their support and philanthropic contributions to Lighthouse Guild and the community. Event co-chairs were Jennifer and Ambassador David Fischer, Audrey and Martin Gruss, Jackie Weld Drake, Thomas C. Quick, and Beth DeWoody and Firooz Zahedi.
Marc Rosen, Founder of the Palm Beach Friends of Lighthouse Guild, welcomed guests, reflecting on how what began as a “friendmaker” 20 years ago has grown into a powerful testament to generosity and compassion.

Then he introduced Dr. Calvin W. Roberts, Lighthouse Guild’s President and CEO. Roberts announced that James Borynack and Adolfo Zaralegui, who hosted the kickoff reception in January at their Findlay Gallery, were taking on new roles as International Ambassadors at Large for Lighthouse Guild. He referenced the high standard initially set by Arlene Dahl, which had been skillfully maintained by Jennifer Fischer, whom he thanked for her invaluable guidance.
Dr. Roberts also acknowledged the outstanding contributions of longtime Lighthouse Guild supporter Frannie Scaife, whose generosity through the Frances Scaife Technology Training Initiative expands support for individuals with vision impairment.
