About the Session
Summer is full of possibilities for children who are blind and have low vision. Join us to explore fun, accessible activities that keep kids active and engaged — and share your family’s favorites to inspire others.
This session will focus on summer activities for children who are blind and have low vision, highlighting the importance of staying active, engaged, and connected during the summer months. We’ll share fun, accessible activity ideas for children and families, and we invite parents to contribute their own favorite summer activities and suggestions to help inspire and support other families.
Speakers
Nancy Doyle – NY State Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired
Nancy has been working with blind and visually impaired children at the Lighthouse Guild for over 15 years. She currently provides vision services for the Lighthouse Guild at the Adapt Community Network Manhattan Preschool Program.
