Seeing AI, developed by Microsoft, is a multi-functional app designed to assist people who are blind or visually impaired. Using your smartphone’s camera, Seeing AI audibly describes what it captures, providing you with the information you need.
- Reads your mail and other text documents.
- Recognizes products in your kitchen or while shopping.
- Describes the world around you, including photos on your phone.
- Recognizes people, currency, and more.
This powerful, free smartphone app allows you to ask questions about a product, document, or scene, and provides you with more information. Our workshop is open to anyone new to Seeing AI, those needing a refresher, or individuals wanting to explore further. After an initial introduction, you will receive personalized assistance from a trained volunteer to learn how to use Seeing AI functions according to your goals. Discover how to use Seeing AI daily for shopping, browsing photos, or reading signs.
