Join us for a conversation with a spokesperson from the NYC Department of Parks about the accessibility features and accommodations available to people with visual impairments in New York City parks. Learn about inclusive park amenities, ongoing accessibility initiatives, and resources designed to help everyone enjoy the city’s outdoor spaces. This is an informative discussion on creating more accessible outdoor experiences for all.

Rain Credle – Manager of Program Development, NYC Parks
Rain leads initiatives that promote environmental stewardship and strengthen community engagement at NYC Parks. With a passion for building meaningful partnerships, Rain develops programs that connect New Yorkers to parks, nature, and educational opportunities while fostering healthier, more vibrant communities.

Nancy Doyle – NY State Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired
Nancy has been working with blind and visually impaired children at the Lighthouse Guild for over 15 years. She currently provides vision services for the Lighthouse Guild at the Adapt Community Network Manhattan Preschool Program.
