Join us for a discussion on how parents can effectively support their children with homework, test preparation, and tips for parent-teacher conferences. We’ll share strategies to prepare you, your child, and their teacher for the best outcomes both at school and at home. Additionally, we’ll provide online resources to assist visually impaired students in a range of skills across the general education and expanded core curriculum.
About the Speaker
Nancy Doyle has over 17 years of experience as a New York State Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired teaching children with visual impairment and other disabilities in a preschool setting. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Illustration from Pratt Institute and a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from Hunter College.
