In this session, we will discuss the latest announcements and concepts in generative AI, focusing on the significance of multimodal AI systems and the importance of prompt engineering. We will also discuss the future of AI, including developments like agents, public concerns, safety measures, and how AI can assist people with vision loss.
We’ll cover:
- Explore the AI ecosystem, including the Chat GPT smartphone application and other platforms, and learn how JAWS and Fusion have integrated and utilize AI.
- Discover how AI can assist with various tasks, from writing emails to describing scenes, images, and more!
- How AI is shaping our world, addressing community concerns, and exploring future features like live video-to-text and dynamic computer vision.

About the Moderators
Bryan Wolynski, OD, FAAO is an Optometrist and serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Lighthouse Guild. He oversees technology resources for the organization, including the Lighthouse Guild Technology Center, and develops strategies to bring the latest technological advancements to people who are blind or visually impaired.
Shanell Matos is a technology assistant for the Lighthouse Guild Technology Center, leveraging her expertise, education, and passion for assistive technology from her first-hand experience with vision loss. Her exceptional skills with technology and ambition have assisted with her career goals and access to the things she loves.
