Lighthouse Guild Names Jamie Ridout as the New Director of Buffalo GuildCare

NEW YORK — Jamie Ridout has been named director of GuildCare in Buffalo. GuildCare, a division of Lighthouse Guild, is the only Adult Day Health Care program in New York State specializing in services for people with vision loss and provides services in Buffalo, Albany, Niagara Falls and Manhattan.

Ms. Ridout will have responsibility for day-to-day operations and overall management of Buffalo GuildCare. She has extensive experience in the field of Adult Day Health Care, having most recently served as Rehabilitation Manager at the SchofieldCare Adult Day Health Care Program in Buffalo. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in Amherst, New York.

GuildCare provides a broad range of services, including nursing care, medication management, diabetes care, physical, occupational and speech therapy, social work services, nutritional counseling, vision rehabilitation, therapeutic activities, morning snack and lunch. Services and activities are specially designed and adapted for individuals with all levels of disability – physical, cognitive, and visual. Individuals do not have to be blind to qualify for GuildCare programs.
