Incorporating Vision Rehabilitation into Optometric Care

Optometrists manage and address patients’ ocular health and visual function, which may include providing or referring patients to vision rehabilitation services. This program addresses low vision and vision rehabilitation with the intent to effectively identify patients with low vision, incorporate basic low vision care into practice, and/or make appropriate referrals.

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Visual Dysfunction

Divided into four parts, this one-hour program covers the range of visual dysfunctions associated with traumatic brain injury (TBI), which may create or exacerbate the physical and cognitive symptoms seen in TBI, particularly mild cases. Learn about approaches to identify and assess visual dysfunction and impairment in patients with TBI and how to differentiate and address visual symptoms from other symptoms related to brain injury.
