Debra Gross, RDN-CDE
Debra S. Gross is a Registered Dietitian, Nutritionist and a Certified Diabetes Educator, with a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition. She studied at City University of New York- Hunter College and passed her national registration exam in 1994. She decided to focus her practice in diabetes management and became a certified diabetes educator in 1998. Debra has helped thousands of patients understand their diabetes, empowering them to control their blood sugars and avoid or delay complications associated with poor diabetes management. She has taught as an Adjunct Professor at City University of New York- Hunter College. Debra enjoys and often lectures to professionals, including physicians, nurses (for CME credits) and patients. She is able to take complex scientific information and explain it to anyone’s ability. Debra is knowledgeable in all nutrition-related diseases as well as alternative nutrition therapy.
