Join this in-person group session to hear from individuals who are blind or visually impaired as they share their experiences using accessible devices like the Victor Reader Stream 3 and Hims Sense Player, along with technologies like Amazon Alexa and various smartphone applications or services such as BARD books, to stream and listen to their favorite digital and audio media content.

We will discuss the challenges and best tips for accessing content for people with vision loss:

  • Learn and review options to access audiobooks, newspapers, and podcasts.
  • Discuss best-in-class aids and devices for accessing particular platforms.
  • Discover strategies for overcoming challenges and tips for making digital content more accessible, including what works and what doesn’t.

About the Moderators

Bryan Wolynski, OD, FAAO is an Optometrist and serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Lighthouse Guild. He oversees technology resources and initiatives for the organization, and develops strategies to bring the latest technological advancements to people who are blind or visually impaired. 

Shanell Matos is a technology assistant for the Lighthouse Guild Technology Center, leveraging her expertise, education, and passion for assistive technology from her first-hand experience with vision loss. Her exceptional skills with technology and ambition have assisted with her goals.
