Each year Lighthouse Guild pays tribute to our dedicated volunteers to recognize their outstanding contributions to our organization.

National Volunteer Week 2022

April 17 – 23, 2022 we recognized our community of Lighthouse Guild volunteers with daily volunteer spotlights to celebrate all their gifts of time and talent — whether in direct service, providing administrative support or on the board of directors or advisory committees. Thank you for your service to Lighthouse Guild!

Volunteer Awards

This year, on April 21, 2022, we held a virtual celebration highlighting the stories of volunteers who serve Lighthouse Guild. We share images of some of the many volunteers who serve throughout the organization. We also shared the voices of volunteers who were recognized during the November 17, 2021, Night of Inspirations recognition event. We want to give a special acknowledgment to Gayle Landers, our longest serving milestone volunteer who celebrated 30 years of service.

I’ve volunteered with a variety of organizations, and my work with Lighthouse Guild is by far the most personally meaningful. The work is so rewarding because you have immediate feedback on the benefits of the services you’re providing. I find it to be a wonderful—almost selfish—experience.
